Wet blasting equipment for cutting tools

Automatic machining equipment that performs high-precision cleaning and surface treatment of cutting tools, and R-honing and such of cutting edges.

This is a one-workpiece-at-a-time processing method in which workpieces are automatically handled and processed individually. The greatest feature of this system is that it can process objects with a high degree of accuracy. The system automatically performs everything from wet blasting, rinsing to pallet setting.

Main Applications

Coating pretreatment of cutting tools

A pre-adhesion treatment that improves the adhesion of the coating for carbide tool surface.

Droplet removal

Removes droplets generated over coating on tool surface without damaging the coating film.

Cutting tool tip honing

Extend the tool life by removing burrs on the cutting edge edges generated in the manufacturing process of carbide tools.
