Wet blasting equipment with an X-axis

Automatic processing equipment that uses a single-axis wide gun to processes the entire surface of plate-shaped workpieces.

This processing equipment is ideal for high-mix low-volume production, capable of uniformly processing a 600 x 300 mm area with a wide gun that is driven by a single axis. Teaching pendant allows programming of gun operating position and speed, as well as the ON/OFF of blast projection.

Main Applications

Improvement of underfill wettability

By finely roughening the circuit surface of the flip chip package and improves the filling property of sealing by under fill.

Scraping of the build-up substrate

A process the filler-containing resin layer on the surface of the build-up substrate uniformly at high speed.

Substrate plating prewash

Removes surface contamination during manufacturing of printed circuit boards, to improve the adhesion of gold plating.

Thin-film coating pretreatment

Wet Blasting firmly form coatings by the anchor effect due to its time-independent Nano-level precise unevenness.

Workpiece loading and unloading are done manually. Otherwise, they are done automatically.
